Content Guidelines

Never allowed

• No minors, ever, in a sexual or suggestive context. This includes characters written or depicted as under 18, and adults styled to read as children. There is no artistic exception. Accounts are terminated on the first offence and reported where the law requires it.
• No real people without documented consent. Do not prompt for a named celebrity, politician, influencer, or private individual, and do not upload a photograph of a real person as a character reference unless you have their written permission. Deceased people count.
• No copyrighted intellectual property. No named characters, scripts, logos, brands, or distinctive costumes from films, games, comics, or other shows.
• No sexual content involving coercion, and no explicit pornography of any kind. Mature drama is fine; a sex scene you would not see on broadcast television is not.
• No hate, harassment, or incitement against people for who they are, and no glorification of terrorism, mass violence, or self-harm.
• No dangerous misinformation presented as fact, and no content designed to defraud viewers.

Rating your series

Every series carries a film rating on the G to NC-17 scale, set from a review of its script topic by topic, and you must keep it honest:

• G and PG — mild conflict, mild language at most, no violence beyond a shove.
• PG-13 — drama, some strong language, non-graphic violence, romantic tension.
• R and NC-17 — strong language, sexual themes, or significant violence. Viewers must confirm they are 18 or older before an episode plays.

Under-rating a series to reach a wider audience is treated as a deliberate breach, not a mistake.

AI disclosure

Every episode on Gasp is machine-generated, and the platform says so. Do not present generated footage as documentary, news, or a real recording of real events.

How we screen

Scripts, character descriptions, and shot prompts are checked automatically before generation runs, so a blocked prompt costs you nothing. Generated frames carry the provider safety flags. A published episode can still be reviewed after the fact.

Reporting

Every series page and the player have a report button. Pick the closest reason, add detail if it helps, and send it. Reports go to a moderation queue reviewed by a person. We do not tell you the outcome of an individual report, but we do act on them.

For copyright specifically, use the DMCA process instead — it is the only route that carries legal weight.

What happens when a rule is broken

• Hide an episode — it leaves the library and stops playing immediately.
• Block a series — the whole series and its episodes are removed from the catalogue.
• Disable generation — the creator keeps their account but cannot spend credits.
• Terminate the account — for severe or repeated breaches. Unspent coins and credits are forfeit.
