What a credit buys.
The same rates on every plan; a plan changes how many credits you get, not what they buy. Credits are held when a run starts and charged only for the clips that finish.
Priced per second at 720p, or at a model's lowest size when it has no 720p; a plan renders a model only at a size within its resolution. Each size has its own rate on each model, and every button shows its price. Assembly of a finished episode is 3.
An 8-shot episode on the standard models is about 820 credits, frames and writing included.
Questions
The short answers.
- Is there a free plan?
- No. Every plan includes the whole studio; what changes is how many credits you get, how many series you can run, how many shots render at once and how high the resolution goes, which sets the video models a plan can use. A studio needs a plan to start a series, and Starter is the place to start. Now and then Gasp provides a plan for a studio it set up, for a trial or a partnership; that plan grants no monthly credits.
- Do I earn from viewers?
- Yes, on every plan. You keep a share of every coin unlock of your episodes and a share of VIP revenue split by plays, paid monthly through Stripe once your balance clears the minimum. The Creator Payout Terms have the details.
- Do unused credits roll over?
- Yes. Plan credits roll over while your plan is active, up to three months' worth of your plan's monthly credits. Each monthly grant tops your plan credits up to that ceiling, and whatever part of that grant does not fit lapses. Credits you buy as top-ups are separate: they never count toward the ceiling and don't expire while your studio is open.
- What happens when I run out mid-season?
- Top up from the studio, with a paid plan's discount applied automatically at checkout, or move up a plan; the difference in monthly credits lands at once and the price is prorated.
- Am I charged for a clip that fails?
- No. A run holds its estimate, charges only the clips that finish, and releases the rest the moment it ends. Retakes are charged per shot.
- Can I change or cancel?
- Any time, from your billing page. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you paid for; your series and episodes stay. A plan Gasp provides changes when you write to us, and buying a plan replaces it.
- Which plan should I start with?
- A standard episode, eight 8-second shots on Seedance 2.0 with their frames and writing, is about 820 credits. Starter's 900 credits a month make about 1, Pro's 2,500 about 3 and Studio's 6,000 about 7. On MiniMax H3, the cheapest model every plan can use for these shots, they make about 4, 10 and 25. Pick the plan whose credits cover the episodes you mean to make each month, and top up in a big month.
- Can other people work in my studio?
- Yes: every plan includes seats, the owner counted, and a Pro or Studio plan lets you turn your studio into a team with its own page. Pro includes two and Studio twenty-five. Everyone shares the studio's credits and series; if the plan later drops below the head count, the newest members are paused (read-only) until it rises or someone leaves, and nobody is removed.
